Windows Vista Snipping tool – Capture A Screenshot Easily

vista snipping toolIn older versions of Windows we had to go through the lengthy process of taking screenshots by pressing the [PrntScrn] button and then pasting the image in programs like MS Paint. But Windows Vista and Windows 7 comes with an advanced screenshot tool called the Snipping tool.

Just got to the Start button at bottom left corner of your vista desktop and type snipping tool in the Search Box. Click ‘New’ and select an option from the drop down list. Start with ‘Windows Snip’. Now the selected window will be highlighted with red border. You can move your mouse to automatically select the required window.
Save the file in your system and you are ready to use is, clean and easy screenshot.

START –> Accessories -> Snipping Tool

I use Windows Snip ever since i started this blog.Its really easy and i do not need to install anything from the web.

    Upgrade to windows7. Vista was a stunt by Microsoft. Windows7 absolutely rocks.

    I’m using very easy free screen capture software SnapaShot. It has only two buttons
    “Copy” and “Save” :) .
