Nokia set to launch the next Linux Smart Phone after N900

The Linux Maemo operating system for mobile devices has been been a vital part in Nokia’s competition against innumerable other smartphones running on Linux OS. Analysts across the globe have estimated the world mobile market to be flooded with Linux based smartphones in 2010.nokia-n900-linux-smartphone-1

It is expected that Nokia will come up with several Linux based mobile hand sets next year.However, the company spokesperson has resisted its early announcement of replacing the Symbian OS , Nokia is believed to remain firmly committed to its Symbian platform for smartphones for atleast the year 2010

Short Description of Nokia N900 :

The phone has a slide-out full QWERTY keypad, upto 1GB of application memory ( 256 MB actual RAM ), true PC-like multitasking features, runs on a 600MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor.
