How To Get BSNL 3G GPRS Internet Setting
Unlike other countries, Most of India is still waiting for 3G mobile services to be launched. It is launched in some cities , and waiting in others to release the 3G spectrum . You can buy 3G SIM cards from BSNL for 300 bucks. BSNL has also launched a Trial Pack of Rs 60 in which you will get 50 MB bandwidth for surfing and download.
With 3G users will be able to browse Fast internet Internet using handsets supporting 3G Internet browsing. If you want to get the BSNL free 3G internet setting please do the following.
For 3G GPRS Setting on your Nokia Phone :
Goto Connection > Settings
Create New Connection Profile
Next step is to specify APN number or “ACCESS POINT NAME”
APN for BSNL 3G settings :
gprsnorth3g.bsnlmobile.in
Every other information stays in default . Now you will be able to access 3G Internet on your 3G enabled mobile phone.
Get Mobile Specific Setting with SMS :
Send your mobile model number to 58655 for ex: Huawei U7510. You will be receiving settings. Save the settings and restart your mobile.

I sent an sms for activation of my new mobile E63 and I received a mail asking me to type my pin number. As I was not having any pin no. I started to feed in my area pin code. Before I even typed 3 nos., I was disconnected and I received a congradulatory message that my mobile has been activated for GPRS service. I still do not know my APN and I was not able to get any Customer service person on line so far. Please help.
