How Change Google Public DNS IP addresses in your Window 7 System

Recently Google has announced its Public DNS service like OPEN DNS.

The Google Public DNS IP addresses are as follows:

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

For changing your DNS Settings on Microsoft Windows 7 Follow the steps below

  1. Goto your Control Panel.
  2. Click Network and Internet settings icon. Scroll to Network and Sharing Center, now move to Manage network connections.dns thumb How Change Google Public DNS IP addresses in your Window 7 System
  3. Now Select the internet connection for which you want to change Google Public DNS. Then right-click and click on Properties of the selected connection.

  5. Select Use the following DNS server addresses.
  6. Write the IP addresses of the Google DNS servers: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
  7. Restart the connection you selected in step 3.
