Hide Facebook Account from Appearing In Search Engines Google Yahoo
Have you recently noticed that while googling yourself , you came up with your facebook account in search results. Do you think this may affect your privacy . Well this is a common problem with social networking user like Facebook to appear on search engines like Google, Yahoo and / or MSN.
Here is what i found while searching my own articles in Ezinearticles.com . Funny part is , my name appeared in Adsense Ads , as if someone is paying to show my profile on Ezine.
To hide your Facebook Profile from Search Engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN:
1. Login to your Facebook profile
2. Go to Settings
3. Click on Privacy Settings
By unselecting “Create a public search listing for me and submit it for search egine indexing”, your public profile will not be indexed by Search Engines, which will avoid your name and personal details from being shown in Search results.
