Recently while discovering new applications from Windows Live like Live Writer which was a great found for me, i stumbled upon Skydrive. An online storage space on reliable Microsoft’s Servers. Sky drive allows you to keep your important documents and files of up to 50 MB.With each windows live/hotmail account you get 25 GB of storage space.
Files are stored in Folders categorized as My Documents , Favorites which can be privately viewed only by you and Shared Favorites and Public Folder for friends. Just click on any folder of your choice and start uploading.

The best thing is that its from MS, so it should be reliable. Given that MS is really serious about their Live series of products, its unlikely that they would shut it down suddenly.
