Firefox 3.5 released – Head on competetion from Opera 10

Firefox 3.5 release candidate is now available as a beta release.

Firefox 3.5 is based on the Gecko rendering platform, which is under development for a year now. Firefox 3.5 offers some changes over its previous version, supporting the latest web2.0 technologies, boosting performance and ease of use.
