EVDO Download Speeds
I have been using BSNL EVDO for quite some time in my home town Siliguri (Deshbandhu Para Region). And i am getting variable speeds at different times of the day. in this post i will keep you updated about different EVDO Speeds experienced by users all over the country.
I will need input from present EVDO users and their views in the comment section Below.Whereas i keep updating this post as i get to know about the different speed from various other sources.

Nice speed ur getting man,
here in guwahati m getting 1.6 in dispur area, average here is 60-70kbps download speed.
and in the out areas aroung 15-20kbps max.
Great Speed I am waiting for machine installation in my area
yah , wait for the BTS to be installed . this will supplement the speeds of Mobile WLL , CDMA and EVDO transmission
The Speed depends on the number users turned on at that moment.. so busier the area you live in the lower the speeds you get..
Well since BSNL didnt publically announce EVDO , there are just few customers . So we get good speeds. But i think BSNL will gradually increase the number of BTS as demands rise.

After using BSNL EVDO, Tata Photon+ and Reliance NetConnect 3.1 Mbps broadband+, I must say that the last is the BEST of the lot.
I have not tried anything other than BSNL EVDO , so cant comment , however BSNL EVDO is the best provider for unlimited wireless internet , and most economical . Works best in urban areas
