Bajaj Pulsar 135cc 2010 Review
Bajaj Auto has released yet another variant of its best seller two wheeler Pulsar. The New Pulsar 135 is expected to be launched on 9th December, 2009. We were able to get some exclusive pictures of a black Pulsar 135. At the first glance we could see air scoops around fuel tank with the the Bajaj Pulsar logo which very well along with the design of the fuel tank.
Looking at the rear part, the bike features a split seat with nitrox suspension. The new Pulsar 135 resembles very much with Bajaj’s 125cc super mileage bike XCD Sprint .
Update : See the new pictures of Bajaj in shades of Red and Black here

The new Pulsar is expected to give a mileage of around 55kmpl. The best part of this bike which would be liked by bikers is the rear number plate holder which is first of its kind in any commuter bike. Rear mudguard is not welcomed by many and the tiny exhaust. This has a single lever gear operation giving a sporty look with proper placement of rear foot pegs giving SBK stance. Everyone is anxiously waiting for the bike to be launched.
If you see carefully these features are strikingly similar to Bajaj XCD Sprint launched sometime back.

That’s another attempt from Bajaj guys to get another variant of Pulsar that can be made affordable for the Indian commuter. I wonder if Bajaj will rename every bike in its two wheeler category to Pulsar.
Or rather redesign and rename
Idea of launching 135cc bike is good but launching under legendary brand name of pulsar is not an good idea, till now all the variants that have been launched under pulsar (150cc 180cc 200cc 220cc) have created their own mark in the Indian market and have been selling good in the market.
135CC design looks like being inspired from multiple bikes (XCD, Apache RTR Hero Honda HUlk). The rear of the bike is not worth to talk about at all.
With this launch Bajaj has indicated its strategy to capture volume segment.. first it was discover (100cc) than Pulsar (135cc or whatever)
Regarding bike.. its too skinny for a pulsar, rear number plate holder is R6 inspired, Headlight assembly sucks IMO…
Why Bajaj is interested in 135 cc .
Nice tip…
